Celebrating a History of Health
Strengths in human, animal, and environmental health
In 2014, the College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources (CAHNR) formalized its commitment to health in all its forms — from humans to animals and the environment and our natural world — with a name change.
“Our current name reflects the breadth and diversity of what makes CAHNR such an impactful college,” says Dean Indrajeet Chaubey. “Health is a huge part of that work.”
To commemorate the 10th anniversary, CAHNR held a year-long celebration of health-related research, education, and extension engagement taking place across the College.

A Legacy of Vaccine Innovation
What do chickens, pigs, and mosquitoes have to do with human vaccines? A lot more than you might think. But for many CAHNR researchers, the linkages between animals and humans goes hand in hand with effective vaccine development.
